The interior design of a building is a complex process. The interior of a house goes through a finishing coat process that includes four stages: plastering, grading, finishing and decorating.
Plastering is followed by the grading which is done with the plaster. The Plaster is a mixture made of plaster and a lime paste used as a pore blocking agent (coating layer) for the walls that are about to be painted.
There are several types of plaster:
Grading plaster or loading plaster
Grading plaster is applied, at least, in two layers. As soon as the first layer of plaster is applied, it is absolutely necessary to reinforce the surface with the glass fiber mesh. The first coat layer is applied in a coarse coat in order to close the uneven surfaces and level the surface of a wall. At this point, the surface is also aesthetically new.
Applying the second layer is intended to give the wall already plastered a better flatness, and, at the same time, to increase the resistance of the structure.
In the final stage of this process, the finishing plaster is applied. The purpose of this is to provide to the building perfect walls. The finishing plaster can be applied in one or two layers.
